South Africa bounced back with a much needed victory in the 2009 Champions Trophy, as they beat New Zealand in the 3rd match by 5 wickets with 53 balls remaining on Thursday, 24th September at Centurion.

Pranell took 5 wickets and AB de Villiers scored unbeaten 70 runs to complete the win.
