Defending champions Australia and underdog neighbors New Zealand will meet in the Final of 2009 ICC Champions Trophy on Monday, 5th October, 2009 at SuperSport Park, Centurion in a day-night game starting from 14:30 local, 12:30 GMT, 6.00 PM IST, 6.30 PM Pak Time.

Australia is unbeaten so far in the tournament and looking favorite to defend the title as all the batsman like Watson, Ponting, Paine, Hussey are in good touch while Johnson and Lee doing well in bowling department.

New Zealand started the tournament with a loss against South Africa after a tough tour of Sri Lanka and from their they never look back as even though they are struggling with injuries to key players like Ryder and Tuffey.
