Pakistan and New Zealand will meet in the 2nd Semi-Final of 2009 ICC Champions Trophy on Saturday, 3rd October, 2009 at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg in a day night game starting from 14:30 local, 12:30 GMT, 6.00 PM IST, 6.30 PM Pak Time. This will be the rematch of Famous 1992 World Cup semi-final.

Pakistan is the title favorite for back to back ICC tournament after T20 World Cup 2 months ago as they are in good form. Mohaamad Asif made a good come pack after doping controversy while Naved doing great. Imran Nazir willreplace Misbah and Aamer will take Asif's place.

New Zealand on other hand struggling with injured players as their batting will suffer in the absence of Jesse Ryder while Grant Elliot availability will be decided in the last moment and Scot Styrus has come for back up.
